Fellowship time. If you have a musical instrument (guitar, etc) feel free to bring it with you. We may choose to have a bit of a jam session.

About the Evely farm: We have a 32x48 covered pavilion where we will meet. The sides are open so dress for the weather. Bring your own chairs. We have 30 acres with lots of trails to hike. If you are inclined, be sure to bring tennis shoes or hiking boots, and other clothing appropriate for outdoor hiking.

About the format: For each new topic Bob will begin by providing an overview based on his studies, and we will then go into a conversation involving all who are present. We will have opportunity to ask questions of one another and share thoughts from our own studies and contemplation of the Scriptures.

Sunday, September 16th – The Evely farm

8:30 a.m.
“The Return of the King” (Revelation)

11:00 a.m.
Closing remarks & discussion

12:00 Noon
Adjournment (though all are welcome to stay longer to hike around the farm, fellowship, or grill lunch.)

Bring folding chairs, good shoes for outdoors, bug spray, etc. The entire
conference will be outdoors (under shelter). Those wishing to camp …
there is ample space on the grounds to accommodate. We will have
porta potties and a washing station setup.

A bit more about the conference format:

Bob’s comments will be based on his recently completed series of books:
·         The Visitation
·         The Waiting
·         The Pause
·         The Return of the King

It is not necessary that you have a copy of these books as Bob will be sharing a brief overview of each segment before our time of discussion. Most of our time will be in discussion; not in listening to Bob (or anyone else).

Those who have done their own studies … please come prepared to share from your notes. But you’ll need to keep it brief. Our goal at this conference will be to examine the New Testament from 30,000 feet … an “overview” of these Scriptures and not a detailed examination of any given passage or passages.

There is a place for a study of trees, but if one devotes their entire energy to studying the tree he will not appreciate the forest. Our goal here will be to consider the forest, with a special focus on contemplating how all portions of the Scriptures fit together.
